Paradise Poker
feels like home to me because it is the first place I played online
poker. I was able to improve my Omaha Hi Low game ten fold by playing on
this site. There were a few good players to learn from, but I learned more
from the bad players and what not to do.
Paradise has play money tables and real money tables. They also offer
multi-table tournaments and mini-tournaments. Most of their tournaments are
No Limit. Considering this is the most popular game, it seems appropriate.
They also tell you how many No Limit players there are in the live action
games in the lobby.
Some features I like best are the ability to take notes on players and being
able to transfer money to another player within minutes. They also have chat
bubbles (which you can disable) so you can see exactly who is saying what
without much effort.
Paradise continually offers chances to win your way into the next World
Poker Tour event. This is the easiest way to qualify for a chance to make it
onto the televised event. They give you plenty of opportunity to win your
way by awarding seats every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. They also have
a $100,000 guaranteed tournament every Sunday.
